really good idea. maybe 0.5 coins for each foe vqed, rounded to nearest, after the whole area is vqed
I actually dislike the idea of PUGs in general. I much perfer the idea of what the game was named after (GUILDS). PUGing is bad, and has been for a long time. At its best, PUGing was average.

0.5 coins per foe? Do some simple math. Bounty sees a reward of 70-210 (I used the HM reward since VQ is HM). Mission sees a reward of 74-150 (again, used the HM reward). At 0.5 coins per foe, that would mean comparable rewards would mean VQs of 140-420 foes. Across all the games, total zones and monsters possible (used max amount) it averages 241 monsters per area. That is a reasonable number, giving 120/121 coins for a vanquish. However, some zones have a very small or large amount, and not always consistent with the region. Diessa Lowlands for instance, has 275-387 monsters, which would give 138-194 coins. For a low level area, it is quite large, and outside of only getting a team of 4, it is very easy to vanquish. Then look at Tasca's Demise. Late game area of Prophecies, but only 66-107 monsters. Even with a team of 8, the monsters have tougher builds and you only get 33-54 coins.

Then factor in the difficulty. Eastern Frontier is very hard for a 4 man team due to the Grawl Ulyodytes. Yet move to Diviner's Ascent, and you see little groups, and most monsters are quite easy to beat even for bad/average players. And the total number of foes in those 2 zones are quite similar. Or look at Majesty's Rest, which has a small number of foes, but a very tough group of undead, including a very tough boss, Rotscale.

I'd be much happier, if they added this in, to see them scale the coins based on the region. Early zones get small amount, middle zones get average amount, and end zones get high amount. There would still be 'farmable' zones for everyone.... Shadow's Passage (what I'd assume to be a mid game area) with 22 max monsters to kill, etc.

But I highly doubt this would be added to the zaishen quests. And I certainly wouldn't expect to see the experienced players doing PUGs for it very often. As with anything else, people want to gaurantee the reward. Joining a group of people who have never done a vanquish, want to map, don't understand why Protective Spirit would be good for a Monk to bring, etc. is not my idea of smart. I'd expect most of the people PUGing it to be the people I just mentioned, or the people who can't find friends/guildies to go with them.
